What is POLE DANCING?  What can you expect to do in a POLE DANCING CLASS?
Here at VAMPS, we believe and pride ourselves in teaching pole for fitness and as an art form that requires knowledge of proper technique and performance detail.  It’s great to know how to do tricks on a pole, but we want our students to do everything with control, grace, and unique style!
Expect a great warm up on and off the pole to start. Hip circles, leg swings, and body rolls are some of our favorites.  Once your body is warm and ready we teach the curriculum of the day including pole moves, transitions, and spins. Beginner pole classes concentrate on doing moves and spins properly with flare and attitude. Intermediate and advance pole classes continue to build on vocabulary and difficulty adding shoes and working on spinning pole as well as stationary.  We also start to explore more exotic movement with the body as well as encourage students to find their own individual artistic style.  Our fantasy fitness classes (aerial & pole conditioning class and floor & chair routine class) are great complimentary classes for pole dancers to help with strength and exotic body movement in stripper heels.  Regardless of what classes you take, expect to work muscles you never knew you had in a way you never thought possible.  A lot of our students now strut in the grocery store, pick things up off the ground with a bend and snap while flipping their hair around like they are hair models.  All good things that are highly encouraged by us in and out of the studio! =)
