FAQ's |
DAY OF THE PARTY.... |
How do I make a reservation?
Call us at 512.981.5873 or email us at info@vampsdance.com for our availability and schedule. We require a deposit of $240 for pole/lap/combo parties paid at the time of booking to confirm your spot. This deposit covers up to 6 people. If there are more than 6 people in your party, you will pay an additional $40 per person. This payment is due in full the day of your party at the studio. If your party needs to be rescheduled you can do so if we are given notice 7 days prior to party date and the rescheduling takes place with in 3 months of cancellation. You forfeit your entire deposit if the party is cancelled at ANY time after booking with no exceptions. How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 4 weeks before your party to ensure that you get the time and day you want. Although we’re happy to accommodate bookings up to a week before your chosen date, we may not be able to provide as wide a range of times or have availability. If you’re looking far to the future, we recommend booking no more than 4 months out, to ensure that the studio and our staff are available. With that said, feel free to call us whenever you wish, and we can check our schedule for you. All parties are booked on a first come, first serve basis and the online scheduler is in real time and shows current availability. Can we change at the studio?
Yes, we have a large restroom where you can change before or after the party. We do have classes and parties scheduled around yours though so please let us know if everyone in the party needs time to change so that we can stop the lesson early to do so. What happens when we arrive?
Once you arrive at the studio we will have everyone sign our group waiver and take care of any remaining payment on your party. After you've been introduced to the studio and your instructor, we will run you through a fun warm up to get the nervousness out of everyone and get some blood flowing before we start teaching you the routine. Toward the end of class, we will turn down the lights, put on the red lights and disco ball and run the routine with everyone a couple of times. There is usually 10-15minutes at the end where we ask if the group would either like to learn one more move or spin, take pictures, or run the routine again. The party ends with giving the Lady of the Hour her gift bag! How many poles do you have at the studio?
We have 5 poles at our Pole Studio on E. 5th St. We max our pole and combo parties to 12 people and our lap dance parties to 14 people since our space is smaller and more intimate. If you have a party larger than 14, we can travel to you! Contact us for more details. Can we bring alcohol?
Alcohol is not allowed in the studio during parties due to our insurance policy and for the safety of those attending the class. Plus we find that most people don't do well drinking and spinning around a pole at the same time! For pole, lap, and combo parties, if you choose to drink prior to getting to the studio please do so responsibly and know that we reserve the right to ask anyone who we feel is overly intoxicated to sit out during the lesson. We are happy to recommend a good place to get a post-party drink in the neighborhood! =) |
Where is the studio located?
Our studio is located at 1601 East 5th St., on the southeast corner of 5th and Comal. You can find directions here. Where should we wear?
You can wear comfortable work out clothes, yoga pants, t-shirts, leggings. Class will be taught barefoot for any pole moves, but if you are going to do the Lap Dance or Combo Party, please bring heels if you have the for the lap portion! If you have any other questions, just let us know. Should we arrive early and where do we park?
We recommend planning on arriving 10 minutes before your start time. Upon arrival, all participants are required to sign a waiver. Please understand that there are classes and parties booked around yours. If you are running late, be aware that it will cut into your appointment time! If you are earlier than 15 minutes, please enter quietly for the other party finishing up. =) You can park anywhere on the streets around our studio. This includes directly in front of the studio, across the street or diagonal around the metro station. Note that some areas are metered during the evenings after 6pm. How should we pay for additional people in our party?
Your deposit pays for the first 6 people in your party. For parties of 6 or fewer, the deposit covers your party in full. If there are more than 6 people in your party an additional per person charge ($40 per person for pole/lap/combo parties) is due the day of at the studio in full in either exact cash or in one transaction on a credit/debit card. Please, no multiple transactions! Should we leave our instructor a tip?
If you enjoy your party, you’re welcome to leave your instructor a tip. It’s always appreciated but absolutely not required. Parties that tip generally leave from $10-$40. Although cash works best, we can also process tips on your credit card at the end of the party. Are we suppose to tip our instructor?
Tips are never expected by our instructors, however they are always appreciated and welcome if you feel they did an exceptional job! If you decide to do so, you can leave a cash or credit card tip for the instructors. You can leave cash for them directly or ask them to run your tip amount on your card. |
